NEXT 90 day Plan:(Aug, Sept, and Oct)

Working on mapping and planning my next 90 day plan (Aug, Sept, and Oct)

On my Fitness level it’s time to hit my Burn Time.  (Time to burn off some of this body fat and TONE UP! I’d like to drop 4% of my body fat off. SO by Nov I want to be at 18% body fat and TONER!

On my Bad habits that I want to change : I am going to work on NOT talking ANY  Electronics  stuff ( like my tablets, phone, ECT) to bed with me. Wasting too much time with them before going to bed and after I wake up) Also I am going thru my phone and seeing what APPS I don’t need or need to get rid of. Like SOME of these social media Apps. Like Facebook.  I will no longer have FB on my phone just my laptop and my Tablet

Finance: I would like to drop another ¼ of my debit and get all my Christmas shopping done.

Family Tree: work on finding more of my 6^th removed grandparents (out of 256 6^th removed grandparents, I have 144 more to find) and work on my Roommate’s Family tree along with my Coworker Jaclyn’s tree.  And take some more classes

SO what’s your next 90 day plan?

How many times have you said ….. I Need To…

How many times have you said and thought about Family and friends:

I need to call him or her to make a lunch/ coffee / or whatever date and you never do. Or just call them to talk.   Think about it ….. We ALL do it,

Then we come off with. OH I talk to them on Facebook or I read there FB Page or …… So I don’t need to call them to say “HI, how are you doing, I was just think of you” or just a “hey there”, or “Hi There, I see it’s your Birthday! HAPPY Birthday” I could go on and on and on.

I know I do it and I know you do it as well. Yes we are ALL Busy, that’s life or is it?  Is your life SO busy you cannot take 5 to 10 mins to stop and make a call? To tell them, hi and show them you care about them?

I know when I call and say HI and I love you to my Great Aunt June, it makes her day for I can hear the smile in her voice get bigger. It also gives me a Warm fuzzy feeling side, knowing I made someone smile today.

So why am I think about all this today? Well that simple. I woke up this  morning just like I normal do but this time when I logged into Facebook I found out that a Dear friend of mine passed away last night from a good HARD battle from cancer. Also I read his Memorial service will be this Saturday but I have to work all day and I feel bad about it so I reach out to his partner and told him I sorry about your loss and I cannot make it to his Memorial but when thing settle  down let go out for coffee or lunch

So think about it! Yes Facebook and the computer is a great tool to keep in touch with friends and family but the phone and meeting up with them for coffee or lunch are as well. If not more so.

 

 

 

 

 

So I challenge each and every one of you reach out and call someone you have been thinking about lately and Say HI! And if you can CALL them on their Birthday and feel there smile over the phone grow!

 

 

UP Dating Address Book:

After MANY years of looking I think I have finally found an Address book Program that I like

For ALL you folks that need to work on cleaning up or wanting to organized your ADDRESS book.  Check out this APP and Web Program that I have found and used.

It’s called FULL Contact. (https://www.fullcontact.com)

 

It links with your E-mail address book and phone and keeps everything sync up. I even was able to tag everyone in my address book into areas so I can find folks faster. For example, Like All my family members that fall under the Fredrickson, Heczko, Phillips, and West family tree are under one tag and all my High School Classmates tag and so on and so forth.

It has taken me over 4 months to do the 1^st part of the cleaning but it is finally done. (I went from 2300 to 812 Contacts) for I had a LOT of Dups and screwed up address. NOW onto the last phase. I will be taking each tag group and making sure I have there correct information in it. Like Home address, main e mail address, Cell phone number, Home number Birthday dates and Anniversaries.    I am hoping to have this part done by the end of the Year. I so I can start and wrap up my next BIG Project before April of 2017.

Todd’s Awesome Baked Beans

Easy Baked Bean recipe using the Slow Cooker

Ingredients: 1 pack Bacon 1 medium 1 medium 1 medium 1 medium 1 medium 2 tablespoons 1 cup 2 Tablespoon 2 Tablespoon I bottle (18 oz.) 4 cans (28oz.) Onion Green Pepper Red Pepper Orange Pepper Yellow Pepper Honey ( Home Grown) Brown Sugar Ketchup Mustard Sweet Baby Rays Barbecue Sauce Bush Baked Beans Directions: Chopped bacon up and then fry the bacon up in a large skillet until bacon is partially cooked. Let Cool. Add Baked Beans to Slow Cooker along with the Chop up Onion, and Peppers. In a large bowl add in Brown Sugar, Ketchup, Mustard, Honey and Barbecue Sauce and mix well and then add to slow cooker along with Bacon and cook on low for 8 hours

Happy St. Urho’s Day / Merry Christmas

Well this letter started off to be my Christmas letter last year for like always time got away from me and now it has turned into a St. Urho’s Day letter LOL.

It’s been a few years since I have written a letter, but not much has been gone on my end of the world. My basic day starts at 5 am with a trip to the gym and then off to the office. Yes, I am still with Allstate and this Oct, I will be 15 years (Wow where did the time go?)  And then at night I work for FEDEX Ground where, I’m loading trucks or moving the truck beds around the yard. I do enjoy it it’s a great place to de stress myself and get paid for it.  So with the help of the Gym and FEDEX this past year I have lost about 30 lbs. and went from 28% BF to 17% so I am happy with that. Also in my spear time, I have been working on getting my Personal Training Degree, working on my 25^th Class Reunion, and my  folks 50^th Anniversary  project

The last time I was able to make it home was the Aug of 2013, where I was able to help my folks out around the house and visit with old friends and see other family members. I had a great visit with the family and friends but most of all I loved spending time with my dog Noel. While I was at home, I helped dad with some projects around the house, also with the help of Jean and my father we cleaned about 10 family head and foot stones in the cemetery.   All I have to say is: it is really nice to see the head stones like my Great Grandma/pa Lundin shine in the sunlight.  Other than the trip up north the only other thing I have worked on was the family tree.  But then again when do I not work on it LOL.

Now this past year I have made some small steps in some of my family research. (I have broken the family tree down by the 4 branches on my tree which is:  West, Heczko, Fredrickson and Phillips. If you don’t know which branch or branches you’re on, please just ask and I will help you)

West:  (dad’s mother side)

The West Family Tree I have taken Grandma Mat West’s side of the family all the way back to 1669 which is my 8^th great grandfather Marcus Erichsson  Mellangarden  But right now I have put his side to rest and now I am work on Great Grandma Ellen Elivira Hedvig Lundin side. My Great Grandmother E West father’s side is coming along slowly but what I really want to work on is finding more information on is Great Great Grandma Ida Lind side (That is Great Grandma Ellen West Mother). I did find an old obituary of one of Grandma Ida’s brothers over in Shell Lake, WI and in the obituary it listed 2 other brothers along with Grandma Ida. But that is all so far, so if any of the West family members remember any stories or information about Grandma Ida PLEASE let me know.  All I have to work with so far is Great Great Grandma Ida, her brother Andrew Lind, John Lind and Swan Lind. No parents name listed any place so far.

In 2015 the family research will slow down BIG time for lack of time but in 2016 my plans for the West side is to keep working on Grandma Ida’s family. I want to find out where in Sweden she is from and what family members did they leave behind.  Than on Grandpa Mat’s side for 2015/2016 I want to work on finding more living family members over in Finland and here in the USA. (Beside the ones we already know) Also I’d like to update the living family members as well.

Heczko:  ( dad’s father side)

NOW after 20+ years I have FINALLY done it!!!!!! With the help of a friend that I have made on Facebook.  I have found Great Grandpa George Heczko Birth information over in the Czech Republic. I was told by Grandpa John, that Grandpa John (Jan) and Great Aunt Anna were born in a town called Český Těšín in the Karviná District, Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. So with the help of my friend who by the way is a Heczko started to look for information for me since he was looking into his own family and he found Grandpa George’s birth records. It told us that he was baptized on March 21 in Oldřichovice which is a village in Frýdek-Místek District, Moravian-Silesian Region, and Czech Republic. Also on his baptismal record it shows his mother’s name and her folk’s name. Great Grandpa George (Jerzy) Heczko father’s name is Unknown by the records but his mother name is Zuzanna Heczkova and her parents’ names are Jan (which is Czy for John) Heczko and Marienna Gorny (Heczkova)

Than if I found the right info Great Grandpa George Heczko mother Zuzanna birth place was Bystřice nad Olší, Severní Morava, Czech Republic.

For Great Grandma Suzanna (Zuzanna) Kantorová  (Heczko) I have found some information but I want to find more information like a birth or baptism record.  But I do believe she was born in a town called Hrádek is a village in Frýdek-Místek District, Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. This village is on the Olza River as well. And her father name was Andrzej Kantor and her mother’s name was   Anna Kluzova and she had 3 sisters and 2 brothers. The other thing I did find out is the last name of Heczko and Kantor over in. Czech Republic are like Johnson and Smith here in the States. Also females in the Czech Republic add ová to their last name.

In 2015 the family research will slow down BIG time for lack of time but in 2016 my plans for the Heczko side is to keep working Great Grandma Suzanna and Great Grandpa George Heczko. It took me 20 + years to find what I have; I am NOT giving up now. LOL I would love to find out that we have family still over there

Fredrickson: (Mom’s mother side)

The Fredrickson Family I have been TRYING to find more information on Great Grandpa Victor (Viktorinus) Fredrickson (Fredriksson). On What I believe I have found out so far is that Grandpa Victor came from   Ljusnarsberg, Örebro län, Sweden and his father was Fredrik Ersson. If this is correct than Grandpa Victor had 2 other brothers and 4 sisters. One brother I know is true for  that would be Erick Jon Fredrickson (Fredriksson),  For that is my mother and Aunt Kris’s  cuz Sony and Bobby’s Grandfather.

In 2015 the family research will slow down BIG time for lack of time but in 2016 my plans for the Fredrickson side is to keep working on finding more information on Grandpa Victor or Uncle Erick. I would love to find there baptismal or birth record. Also I would like to find more of this family both in US and in Sweden and to get to know them better. With Grandma Phillip passing away when I was so young I did not get to know her side of the family well so I would LOVE to learn more about the Fredrickson family.

Phillips: (Mom’s father side)

BOY DO I LOVE THIS Side of my family tree. I just wish I got to know my grandfather Ben but working on the family tree I have learned that he was a very cool and fun guy to be around.

Now don’t get me wrong the other 3 side are in my heart just as much but the Phillips branch  of my tree is what got me on this path in the 1^st place and what a journey has it been. . This journey all started when my Great Aunt Virginia told me that one of the Witches during the Salam Witch trails was a cuz on mine. I think she told me that Sarah Gooding was the one but as of today I still have not found out how we are related but I have found so much more information and family members

But  I have found many famous people in my family, just to name a few of them that: Lady Godiva is my 26^th removed grandmother, William the Conqueror is my 23 grandfather along with his Son Henry1st King of England.  King Edward I is my 20^th great-grandfather. And Two of my grandfathers came off the MayFlower.  Just to name a few.

In 2015 the family research will slow down BIG time for lack of time but in 2016 my plans for the Phillips side is to start fine tuning the tree. I have found many great things on this side but it’s time to step back and to fine tune it. Also I would love to find living family members now and to get to know my Phillips family members better. For I know so much about my Heczko and West Roots and all the great folks I am related to but I have No clue on the Phillips or Fredrickson side and I would love to know more about them.

So as you can see I have not gone far in travel physical but I have done so by paper and learning from working on the family tree.

Now what are my plans for rest of  2015, Well as I said above I am stepping back  for some of my Hard Core Family research but if I do play in it, it will be dealing with updating  some of the living branches for I have not done that…. oh what 10 years I think.  Also in May  I plan on  taking some time off and heading up for (KK) McKayla  graduation as well as  Mom’s  70 Birthday.  Then in July I have to fly home for my 25^th class reunion. Which reminds me I need to start busting my …..  for that even, yes I will be planning it from Nashville with the help of other classmates like I did for my 20^th class reunion. Then  I will be flying home once more  in Oct for  on Oct 2 2015 my Folks will be celebrating their 50^th Wedding  Anniversary.    (BOY, are they getting OLD or what LOL)

As I said in the beginning,   I have made up my mind and I have  gone back to school  right now I am working  Getting my Personal Trainer degree and then  I will like to start taking class and get my Genealogy degree.

In 2016, I think I would like to take a trip up to Upper New York to meet some of my Grandfather’s family members and then in 2017 I want to head to Český Těšín, Czech Republic and that area to find more information on the Heczko side of the family and to see where my grandfather came from. If anyone wants to come along with me Please let me know.
